Starting to create more conditional workflows and although a lot of this stuff may become unnecessary because of control containers the following question came to mind:
Is there a reason why you would use the radio buttons to open / close containers for conditional workflows versus using a detour tool to achieve a similar effect? Are there benefits of using one over the other long term?
My one thought is that by closing containers you can still pass data through them to more tools downstream but I don't even know if that is true and I have yet to test it.
Thanks for any thoughts or insights have a good week folks.

I believe you are already using Alteryx with the new control container tool from version 2023.1. Until then, there was no way to control the processes and the Detour and Detour End tools, depending on the situation, were the most suitable. Many users believed that the Filter tool could do the same as the Detour tool.
So, the Control container tool came to make life easier for Alteryx developers
