Comparing rows in different data set and updating the column in second data set

Apologies if this has come up earlier, I could not find it. I know it might be something very simple but for a novice like me, it looks complicated.

I want to compare rows of different data set and add a column in the second data set based on the comparison.

Data set 1 :  Hourly rate 

Data set 2 : Hours worked

Hourly rate changes multiple times in a month. We are required to calculate the amount based on the hours worked on a particular day.

Data set 1: Hourly rate

Try the Multi-Row Formula tool and the Generate Rows tool.  See attached workflow.

Also suggest... become familiar with the CReW macros, and use a macro like Expect Zero on the D output anchor of the Unique tool, to ensure accurate data.

From what I've seen, these macros are widely used by many in the Community, and by Alteryx.
