Combining Data Sets into a Table

I have two datasets that I would like to combine into a table but I'm not sure what is the best way to go about this.  To further elaborate say I have one dataset with Columns A, B and C.  I then have another dataset with Columns A (can be matched), D and E.  I want columns A, B, C to come first and I want the background color to be orange.  I then want columns D and E to come next and I want the background to be maroon.  Please see the screenshot attached.

What is the best way to do this? I was able to join the datasets into one table but then I can't adjust the column header colors so I tried creating two tables and then joining but that didn't work.

Yes, thank you so much!  I think I was over complicating it a bit, but that worked out great!
