Capturing an error

Hi,

Just wondering after scanning a few articles in this community, the best approach to capturing an error using DateTime tool to convert dates.  Maybe someone has recommended articles to work problems?  My current issue is instead of a date such as MM/dd/YYYY apparently in excel file is has seconds.  I'd like to identify a send an email and stop processing.  I'm using 2018.3 designer.

@jeffv - can you paste a sample date from your excel file, or maybe a screenshot to help us understand your data?

Have you explored the events section of the workflow configuration?

You can send emails depending on the outcome of the overall Workflow

 > Send email

you can setup this action selecting "After run with errors"

Authenticate and send the email
