Can Alteryx OneDrive input tool work like a Directory tool?

Hello experts! I need your help.

I am about to have my workflow migrated to Alteryx Gallery. My workflow is currently designed to gather its data from a document library in SharePoint.

The problem is, I was told that inputs coming from SharePoint will cause an issue if it was put into the Gallery due to a service account being used(?) So now I am looking for alternatives on where I would put my input files, which then led me to try OneDrive. 

I noticed that the choices are limited to .csv, json, etc. upon selection of an input.. so I am trying to confirm whether it is possible to grab files from a whole folder in OneDrive?

Any suggestion is welcome.

Hello Kat,

I think this post with a suggestion from @StephenRuhl is what you are looking for. He suggests getting around this by syncing a OneDrive folder with our server.
