Hi all,
I am trying to minus the the the two rows (Record 2 - Record1) , I looked at some of the solutions provided in the community, which was all really great using the transpose tool. But I was just wondering if there are any other simple ways to do the calculation since its such a simple thing to do so in Excel.
Thanks in advance!

Hi @jennnnyk
if its a single column you can Multi-row formula. If not transpose method is the best option.
Intercative lesson on Multi-row formula: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Interactive-Lessons/Multi-Row-Formula/ta-p/82872
Hope this helps 🙂

Hi @jennnnyk,
I have used your example in two different ways, see if helps you.
If the only need of your use case is a calculation, Alteryx indeed will have more steps vs Excel. As you familiarise yourself with the Alteryx tools this feeling will go away. Also Alteryx is much more powerful in the automation of repetitive task - i.e. you only have to set this up once.
hope it helps!
cheers!
