Alteryx SharePoint Output tool (v 2.4.2) questionable reliability ?

Hi Alteryx community,

Hope all well !

I have created an Alteryx Designer workflow which outputs processed data as an Excel file to a SharePoint document library

The below screenshot represents how the tool output is configured / placed

I am connecting to SharePoint using Service Principal (Client ID / Client Secret) authentication method

I am beginning to doubt the reliability of this tool (version 2.4.2) 

Sometimes the flow gets stuck at the "Plugin class successfully loaded"

It does not proceed further for any reasonable amount of time (I have seen it being stuck overnight)

I see that the tool icon shows 100% complete, but no file is outputted and the workflow has stopped processing

Sometimes, closing the Alteryx Designer and re-opening and running the workflow helps, while sometimes it doesn't 

The size of the data within the Excel file is not huge - approx 6000 rows x 72 columns

Any idea what may be happening or any workaround of this situation please?

We cannot put a workflow into production with such on/off performance of a tool

I was wondering if you were able to resolve this issue?  I am running into a similar issue but I am writing back to a SharePoint list.
