For the past year we have connected Alteryx using an ODBC SAP HANA connector.
Recently we moved to Denodo views and when connecting Alteryx to Denodo with an ODBC driver the table schema is blank.
Is Alteryx not supported to connect to Denodo?

I did a search and based on this thread it's not supported but there appears to be some potential workarounds to try:

Denodo isn't listed on our data sources page at https://www.alteryx.com/data-sources but Denodo does have a help page located here that walks you through the connection:
https://community.denodo.com/kb/en/view/document/How%20to%20connect%20to%20Denodo%20from%20Alteryx
It may not have visual query building due to the generic connection type, but it looks like people are successfully pulling data. I hope this helps!

This works in Designer with local odbc. It works in designer running with the gallery connection odbc. But when it's published to Gallery, it doesn't work - "insufficient privileges error".
Has anyone seen this work in Gallery?

@smysnbrg I suspect this has to do with your server Run As user (or lack of) and how you have workflow credentials set up. Can you take a look at this article: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Server-Knowledge-Base/How-Workflow-Credentials-Work-on-a-Pr...
I think that this has to do with how the Server is authenticating against Denodo

@Andrew_Seaman Andrew - did you ever find a solution to this so that you are able to query Denodo in Alteryx? At my company, we are able to query Denodo however tables & views in CamelCase do not appear properly in the visual query editor. Interested in knowing if you were able to make any progress!

@Andrew_Seaman , check out the documentation from Denodo below.
https://community.denodo.com/kb/en/view/document/How%20to%20connect%20to%20Denodo%20from%20Alteryx
It also looks like Denodo support is on the roadmap as well!
If this helps resolve your issue, please mark this reply as a solution so that others in the community can benefit from our collaboration.
Thanks!

Any news on the support of Alteryx to Denodo?
All our connections at my org must be via Denodo and not having Alteryx supporting it is a big no no for continuity of the system here.
And I tried the ODBC driver and I only get an empty list.
Denodo works great on Tableau Prep and Tableau Desktop.

Hi @calloni
Have you checked out this article? https://community.denodo.com/kb/en/view/document/How%20to%20connect%20to%20Denodo%20from%20Alteryx
I would recommend posting in this community idea post to get an update and liking the post as the feedback goes directly to our product team.. https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Ideas/Alteryx-support-for-Denodo-Data-Sources/idi-...
Hope this helps.
