I want to create a chart exactly like this that I've created in excel? If you could please attached your Workflow.

Hi @clarrock 

While the graphing capabilities of Alteryx are improving, it's real strength lies in data prep and analysis. Here's the closest I could easily get.

When modifying the data. Why isn't my chart modifying. It still remains the same. Try to put a negative number in one of the columns.. The chart doesn't change.

It looks like you've found a bug, or at least an inconsistency, in the Interactive Chart tool

Here's what you're expecting. Note -2 in the 4th bar

When you display this in Alteryx you get the following. In the 4th bar the -2(green) is overlapping the 11, yellow.  

If you change the mode to grouped bar instead of stacked, you get which is closer to what you're expecting

@danilang Got it with negative changes there is an issue/bug. But I have a problem too when running this data on my main workflow -

Let me explain -

I run two charts that are exactly the same. So when the chart run they are attached/rendered to a PPT. The height of the bar as well as inside bar height are accurate but the values inside the yellow, red and grey are incorrect. Every time I run with new values I get odd numbers.

Is this some kind of problem with Alteryx charts. Should I use the Block Until Done tool?

@danilang but when I click configure chart in the Interactive Tool they all automatically get accurate. Why when running it comes wrong but when opening the tool it's accurate?

When I render a single chart to a pptx file, the values in the output always match with the values in the input.  I've attached 2 pptx files rendered with different starting data for bar 1

Can you attach your workflow and some sample data so I can try it?
