Account Reconciliation - Calculate Difference between activity total and GL Balance

I am preparing a workflow to generate account reconciliation reports.  I have reconciliation activity and total and the g/l balance.  I want to add the difference between the two amount.  The difference should follow after Total GL Bal row.  I am having difficulty with the correct tool / process to accomplish this task.  Suggestions.  Thanks.
