Incorrect Metadata Output to Tableau Cloud

Hi,

I've recently moved to Alteryx Cloud and I'm trying to output to Tableau Cloud, however, the data type for a Date field won't translate and instead is pulling through as a string... The only data in the field are date formats. Tableau then doesn't allow me to change the data type. I have created a calculated field to change it to date for now, but will need to use lots of datasets so can't rely on doing this every time... This has been the case with all the datasets I have output to Tableau Cloud.

Any solutions to this?

You can report through Mission Control (my.alteryx.com) to ensure Customer Support is aware and can provide insight into resolution. The case submission process will also search the Knowledge Base in case there is a known solution!
