How to get metadata from Google Cloud Storage?

I want to access the "last updated" datetime value of the source file from GCS and add it as a column in my recipe. For example, the first file from GCS was last updated today at 3:31pm. I want to add a step in my recipe to add a datetime column "11/08/2022 15:31:00". Has anyone been able to do this?
