Table tool writes output as HTML text in Excel

Question

Hi All,

I'm having issues with using the Table tool to write output to excel. When I run the flow and use the browse tool I see that the pivot table is created correctly, but when I check the excel file, the pivot table is a HTML string, please see attached pictures of the two outputs.

May I kindly ask you to help resolve this issue?

Hi @mtuwanax

If you use the Table tool, you should use Rendering tool to output data.

It is not possible to Output data tool to output the result of Table tool.

yes - this is what happens when you attach a table to an output data tool... attach a render tool and it'll work fine... note - render too will re-write the entire file each time you use it.
