Alteryx support helped me and I could fix the display issue by modifying the windows display setting.

@knozawa , I have an older version, but can you check under 'View' menu, if there is an option to check/ uncheck 'Search box'?

No, I don't see an option to check/ uncheck 'Search box' under view.

I just upgraded to version 2019.4.8.22007. Still same issue.
