read / write SAS Transport V5 format files

The FDA requires pharma companies submit clinical trial data in SAS Transport V5 format.

This format is considered "open" because the format has been published..

Does anyone have experience in reading / writing data in this SAS format with Alteryx ?

I don't have SAS and am hoping that I can use Alteryx to manage these data sets.

@MrD Currently we only support reading and writing to sas7bdat files for SAS (See supported data sources in help for details). As such we cannot read or write SAS Transport files (.xpt file extensions) at this time. If you would like to see this file format supported in the future I would recommend posting your request along with your use cases to the Product Ideas section here on the Community.
