The “Questions” are areas where solutions are accepted, like Alteryx One and Server Discussions.

A: This is not the intended outcome of the migration, and we are aware that ranks aren't appearing as expected and are working to resolve.
A: Because labels now span across the full Community, some filters may return broader results than expected. We are working to improve this with more targeted labeling.
A: When you reply to a comment within a post, a threaded comment will appear below the comment. If you reply to the post, then the comment will show directly below the original post.
A: Things not working as expected?
We know change can take some getting used to, and we appreciate your patience as we continue to improve the experience. More enhancements are already on the way!
Congratulations on the community renewal!
@AlteryxMatt
By the way, where did the localized Weekly Challenge go? Is it no longer available?
Many people were studying Alteryx using the localized Weekly Challenge. I would like to continue using it if possible.
I have mixed feeling about the new website. It does look great, love it. It has a much professional look, great colours and layout. The navigation is simple and logic. Congrats! However I do not like the Discussions pages, and it is lagging for me when I'm trying to add the user name. After adding @ the system keep loading without getting any result. After going to Help Docs I did not find any button to return me to the home page. I do believe that it was good to reset the person status however it would be nice to see the merit budges from the previous website, those that were earned based on participation, such as the Top Contributors budges.
Hi @OTrieger,
Thanks so much for taking the time to explore the new platform and share such thoughtful feedback.
We’ve noted the points you raised, including the lag when adding a user with @ in Discussions, the missing path back to the Community home page from the Help Docs landing page, and your suggestion regarding merit badges, such as the previous Top Contributors badges.
We’ll share this feedback with the appropriate teams. The navigation point on the Help Docs landing page, in particular, can be passed along to the Help Docs team for review.
Thanks again for helping us improve the experience.
I am having difficulties to mention and it seems that we can not attach yxzp files anyway.
I'm not sure if this is part of the change of not, however prior the change there will be notifications or email sent if new comments were added to a post that you left a comment. That kept the person updated if new comments added. Currently need to keep monitor the post itself to know if there are updates. Yes, it is possible to see who was the last person to comment, but if there are 4-5 posts that a person actively participate in them, it is very hard to follow up all these posts. I will be nice to active the notifications as were on the older version.
I can't also find localized Blog… I want it to come back!
@Dean4U I think that resetting the status was a good thing, those that are active and contributing would climb up again. Merit badges are something else as this was an award for being active, so it is good that those badges are returned, thanks. I think that ACE should be more visible, maybe it will be good to add a background colour so it will stand out.
Hi,
I was able to view certification link few days back.
Certification Resources - Alteryx Community
Now, today I cannot view the Certification information page anymore. It says 'You need the Vanilla.Discussions.View permission to do that.' Can someone please help as i want to get Certified
Hi @OTrieger!
We have paused email notifications until we complete testing on functionality in the Community. This is to ensure we do not spam Community members. They will return!
Hi @AkimasaKajitani!
Once the new translation feature is available, all English weekly challenges will be able to be automatically translated into Japanese. The catalog of 500 challenges will then be accessible. This should be rolling out soon, so keep an eye out!
Hi @shilpa110992,
All certification resources now live on academy.alteryx.com.
I would check out the Certifications Page for the info you are looking for!
Thank you @AlteryxMatt
To tell the truth, there are some Japan original weekly challenges in the Japanese weekly challenge. As you said, those will be gone, right?😭
I try to put the image into spoiler tag when I reply to the message, but I can't. How can I put the images into spoiler tag?
(Actually, it's difficult to find where the spoiler tags are located.)
@AkimasaKajitani Not being able to put an image in a spoiler tag is a bug that we are working to resolve, thanks for the callout!
You can also find the spoiler tag by clicking into the formatting menu on the left side of the text box when creating a post and navigating to the spoiler option (see screenshot)
@AkimasaKajitani - Unfortunately, our localized content is no longer supported. Once the translation feature is implemented, all blogs moving forward will be automatically localized for everyone to enjoy!
Hi @Qiu,
The issue regarding attaching yxzp files should be;d be fixed. Refresh your browser cache if you are still encountering issues.
What issue were you running into with the @ mention?
What is the difference between Certifications and Certificates on Certification - Alteryx Academy? W
I am a bit confused and disappointed. I wrote 50+ blog articles for the German community and literally all of them seems to be gone. I put so much time into writing them and they were often mentioned by our community members in the DACH region. I often got compliments how much people learnt from them and literally everything was whipped away.
I'm not a real fan of the new colors and look/feel. It feels like a standard modern ui, nothing special anymore. The old community had a character, it was unique, it was different. This new community feels like 100s that I have seen. It's now part of a mainstream element that doesn't stand out anymore.
@AlteryxMatt However, there are some original Blogs in localization community. I would like it to be revived if possible.
I saw it showed badges if you're the OP. did it have option to pick which one to show? I want to show the 7th year badge only. 😁
Not a fan of the new UI. Really wish they had thicker bars to go between comments/messages. It's not an improvement over what we had before and feels like "fixing something that isn't broken." No dark mode (even if you're working on it) is lame too.
Hello - You can find more information about the difference between "certificates" and "certifications" in our Alteryx Certification FAQ. Thanks, Alteryx Certification
@AlteryxMatt Thank you for fixing the attachment of yxzp issue. And I think I came to know that there will no selection list pop up as before when I do mention. I have input the user name for starting.
Thank you.
I've been away for a bit and struggling with the new platform. I tried to post a solution to one of the weekly challenges but was unable to put an image in the post as a spoiler. It would attach with the image button in the post in general but not in the spoiler section. Now somehow the entire post is a spoiler even though no spoiler section shows up when trying to edit it. Additionally it will no longer allow me to attach a file. I also did not see a preview option for posts, where is that? As others have stated this is a very jarring change (visually and functionally) to the look and feel of the Community. Not a fan.
Receive likes in post no longer show up as notifications? It recognition and core motivation for me to answers post and discussions.notification settings are also not intuitive. Why aren’t they all on one page. this is from Notifications.
this is from profile > "Account & Privacy"
both in similar location. and cant go to opposite. i hope to either all sit together or a link can go to other opposite area.
