Your profile is where you manage your personal information and control how you interact in the Alteryx Community. To access your profile:
- Click your profile picture (top right)
- From the menu:
- Select your avatar to view your profile (activity)
- Select Account & Privacy Settings to manage your settings
Manage your settings
Go to Account & Privacy Settings and use the menu on the right to update:
Privacy
- Make your profile public or private
- Show or hide your email
- Enable anonymized analytics
Changes save automatically - Adjust AI controls
Notification Preferences
- Control email and on-site Community notifications
- Adjust to reduce noise or stay informed on the topics most important to you
Profile details
- Update your profile fields (name, title, company, etc.)
- Add or edit your bio
- Upload or change your avatar
Important
- You cannot update your email or password in the Community
→ Use the MyAlteryx Preference Center - Some options may vary based on your account
Your activity
Access all of your previous posts and comments from your profile page by clicking Posts or Comments below your avatar.
Additional options
Your profile is also the hub for helpful settings like
- Followed Content view all of the content you’re following and make adjustments
- Who’s Online showcases fellow users currently online
- Signature Settings allow you to add a signature to all of your posts
- Inbox send and view private messages from fellow Community members
