curl_easy_perform failed - Download tool

Hello

having the below errors while using the Download tool in multiple instances. Cannot send the workflow as it contains login details.

The Download tool it's/was connecting to client ftp accounts to download files.

Error: Func 'curl_easy_perform' failed, ret = 67, desc = Login denied
Error: Func 'curl_easy_perform' failed, ret = 56, desc = Failure when receiving data from the peer

This is happening since the updates to new versions, AlteryxVersion: 2025.2.1.24 neither selecting the AMP engine can fix this.

Any help or where to find documentation about it would be appreciated. was reading few community posts already but not of much help either.

The 1st error typically means that your username and password is incorrect. You can test this by manually logging into the ftp server with those credentials.

Since it worked before, I would try and rule out things outside of Alteryx, such as that the login account might have expired.

Perhaps the 1st error is causing the 2nd one? Or it could be firewall or AV software related. I would try and get past the 1st error before focusing on the 2nd one.

If you really suspect that the new Alteryx version is causing it, try installing an older version and test. You can install  a non admin version in addition to your current version.
