Disable All Tools that Write Output. Sometimes sticky, sometimes not. How to set?

I often use the "Disable All Tools that Write to Output" Workflow configuration option.  Sometimes, after setting it:

1. it stays checked until I unset it.
2. I can run the workflow once but it automatically becomes unchecked and then I have to select it again.

Why is this inconsistent and how do I choose which of the two happens?

Hi @AlexApolloni,

What you should be seeing is the first option of the two, which I have checked works on my Designer. When the checkbox is enabled, all outputs should be disabled (visually shown as greyed out) for all subsequent runs.
