Simple macro that abstracts the API call to Google's generative AI models. Currently uses the text-bison-001 model as described at https://developers.generativeai.google/guide. You will need to get an API key for yourself at https://makersuite.google.com/.
Inputs: A column of any text prompts
Outputs: Google's AI LLM response
This workflow can be used to generate text, translate languages, write different kinds of creative content, and answer your questions in an informative way. It is still under development, but it has learned to perform many kinds of tasks.
To use this workflow, you will need to:
- Get an API key from Google.
- Import the workflow into Alteryx.
- Set the API key in the workflow.
- Enter your text prompts in the input column.
- Run the workflow.
The output column will contain Google's AI LLM response to your prompts. You can adjust the temperature (creativity) and candidate count (number of attempts) for the LLM to use.
Here are some examples of what you can do with this workflow:
- Generate text: Enter a prompt, such as "Write a poem about a cat," and the workflow will generate a poem about a cat.
- Translate languages: Enter a prompt and a language code, such as "Translate 'Hello world' into Spanish," and the workflow will translate the phrase into Spanish.
- Write different kinds of creative content: Enter a prompt and a genre, such as "Write a short story in the style of Ernest Hemingway," and the workflow will generate a short story in the style of Ernest Hemingway.
- Answer your questions in an informative way: Enter a question, such as "What is the capital of France?" and the workflow will answer the question.
This workflow is a powerful tool that can be used for a variety of tasks. I encourage you to explore it and see what you can create.
The full text of the AI reply will be in the "Description Field". There are a number of additional metadata scores produced by the API as well.
