Alteryx Designer Cloud
This month in Designer Cloud, we’re bringing you some highly requested features – namely, resampling.
If you’ve ever been working with a data set, and for whatever reason, you feel that the sample you’re working with is not representative of the underlying data, it’s now possible, and easy, to create a new random sample pulling different rows of data. You can also switch between data samples to ensure you have appropriate coverage.
With resampling, you’re sure to have more confidence that you’ve done all of the necessary data preparation steps before running a workflow.
We’ve also added a quality-of-life upgrade, making it possible to trigger Predictive Transformation Suggestions by clicking a single bar of the data profiling chart. Whether that data is Ok, Not Ok, Null, or Empty, you can now get appropriate Suggestions with a single click, making the data preparation process even faster.
That’s all this month for Designer Cloud – but keep an eye out for some exciting announcements coming very soon!
Alteryx Location Intelligence
At Inspire, we unveiled the new Alteryx Location Intelligence, a cloud-based application that empowers users to make intelligent, scalable location-based decisions using a unified, map-based, enterprise-grade solution for creating geospatial-based insights. But that’s just the beginning. We’re not stopping there – our journey continues with some exciting releases in August:
- Seamless Snowflake Inputs Integration. Do you have datasets stored in Snowflake with those geometry or geography columns? Now, you can seamlessly connect Alteryx Location Intelligence with Snowflake. Dive into analyzing large datasets effortlessly while maintaining the scalability you love.
- Introducing Radius Styling. We’re excited to announce the new Radius functionality, the ability to adjust the radius of point layers, transforming your insights into the process. It's all about customization and precision, putting you in control.

Alteryx Analytics Cloud Platform Update
It’s now easier than ever to get started with Alteryx APIs. Users can now access external APIs directly from the help screen.
