Alteryx is a top sponsor of the Tableau Conference for the third year in a row. Over the course of these 3 years, we’ve seen over 350 companies adopt Alteryx and Tableau to drive deeper insights, faster. These companies love how easy it is to use Alteryx to blend data from multiple sources, add predictive and spatial analytics in a drag and drop user interface, and then output the results to Tableau repeatedly as the data updates.
Tableau Conference 2015One of the things we love the most is to have our customers speak on our behalf. As a top sponsor, Alteryx will deliver three sessions at the conference. These sessions are mostly driven by customers telling their stories of how they use Alteryx and Tableau.
Tuesday Oct 20 12:45pm to 1:45pm CC 202, Conference Center Level 2
The first session will feature joint Alteryx/Tableau customer Werner Enterprises. Werner is using Alteryx for the fast data blending and advanced analytics it provides for Tableau users. Jeff Walters will talk about a couple of different use cases, including how they use Alteryx and Tableau to ensure revenue is accrued and collected. This has had an impact of over $1 million monthly.
Wednesday Oct 21 11:15am to 11:45am CC 201, Conference Center Level 2
The second session is a panel that will consist of joint Alteryx/Tableau customers, including Tableau Zen Master Joe Mako of Rosenblatt Securities, Wendy Gradek of EMC, and Paul Chapman of easyJet. This session will focus on the evolution of Tableau at their organizations, and how the use of Tableau and Alteryx has impacted their role in the organization.
Thursday Oct 22 11:45am to 12:45pm CC 203, Conference Center Level 2
The third session is a hands-on lab that will enable users to follow along with the creation of an Alteryx workflow. This session will be delivered by Cailin Swingle of Alteryx (you can register for this lab here). For this session, make sure you have downloaded Alteryx and installed it on your machine so you can follow along. If you do not have a copy of Alteryx, swing by the Alteryx booth (#331) and get an updated version of the Visual Analytics Kit, which includes the trial version of Alteryx and a number of sample visualizations and workflows.
