Data is used in every aspect of our retail business and with the adoption of digital technologies we are generating more data than ever. This is creating a treasure trove of information to support our customers growth and deliver insights to our teams. As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, a newly created role, you will be a key player in making this data available to the end users of our organization allowing them to make smarter and critical decisions faster. You'll also be a key player in making sure this data is leveraged in predicting and driving personalization when our customers interact with our brand.

Please Note: This is hybrid role working 2 to 3 days in our Minneapolis / Golden Valley office.
As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, your contributions will be guided by our Director of Business Intelligence. We have a strong foundation and are continuing to build out the team that drives business intelligence at Room & Board.
You’ll share your talents as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in the following ways:
- Help us strengthen our existing machine learning to create a great customer experience
- Establish and maintain a Customer Data Platform (CDP)
- Expand our capabilities with MS PowerBI, our BI reporting tool, as we continue to stand it up across the organization, including developing training, establishing user groups, etc.
- Work with business partners to understand informational needs of end users and create personalized datafeeds/reporting/visualization solutions that turn data into critical information to ultimately drive sound business decisions
- Maintain reports and dashboards in Excel
- Support consumer data privacy requests and fraud detection
- Determine audience segmentation leveraged for research projects
- Collaborate across teams to identify commons standards, share best practices, and general knowledge sharing to contribute to the ongoing development and betterment of the BI practice at Room & Board

The knowledge/education/qualifications/skills you’ll bring as a qualified Senior Business Intelligence Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, MIS or Statistics
- 10+ years working with Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with reporting interface tools
- Experience working with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tools (Experience w/Alteryx is preferred)
- Ability to lead teams in report requirements and output of results
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States without corporate sponsorships
Software experience:
- Microsoft Power BI
- ETL Tools such as Alteryx
- Additional experience working with Microsoft Power BI such as Tableau, DOMO, Qlik, Looker preferred

- Salary: $115,000 - 120,000 / year
