This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Strategy, Insights, and Analytics team of consultants to important functions across Hilton! The team consists of both embedded authorities who serve as strategic advisors to partners and technical specialists who are proficient in advanced analytics techniques and tools. As a Lead, Enterprise Business Intelligence (BI), reporting to the Sr. Manager, Business Intelligence, you will support BI projects and capabilities that provide rich and actionable insights about our Customers (Customer Insights).

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Develop dashboards, reports, datasets, and analytics tools using a variety of BI, data, and analytics tools like MicroStrategy, Redshift, PostgreSQL, Alteryx, Alation, SQL, Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, DBT, Python, and more.
- Collaborate with data technology partners in the development and optimization of data processes and schemas to improve the performance and stability of the data warehouse and reporting solutions.
- Assist members of the analytics team and business partners with ad-hoc and self-service analytics capabilities like dashboards.
- Support end-user enablement on the use of the delivered solutions.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Collaborate with diverse teams to gather and refine requirements and translate them into tangible data and analytics products and solutions.
- Cultivate relationships with the Analytics Product team to establish the product life cycle as solutions are delivered to ensure the facilitation of a closed feedback loop, service level agreements for reported issues, and the grooming of an improvement/feature backlog.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- BI projects that support strategic, tactical, and operational decisions around our customers to help deliver the Hilton Customer Promise and differentiate Hilton brands to customers and owners.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Five (5) years in the field of analytics
- Three (3) years of creating reports, dashboards, and summarizing large amounts of data into practical intelligence to guide decisions
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools like MicroStrategy or Tableau
- Knowledge in data warehousing, SQL, and data management concepts using tools like Amazon RedShift or other database management systems
It would be useful if you have:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, or another analytical field
- Experience with additional coding languages (Python, R, Hive, Scala, etc.)
- Experience with data management and orchestration tools (Alteryx, DBT, Informatica, Airflow, etc.)
- Experience with supporting disciplines (data quality, data operations, data modeling, Data WH/Data Lake)
