Bridging the conversation gap with IT when scaling out Alteryx Usage

This might include:

  • How and when to bring them into the conversation
  • Getting them to support and understand Alteryx

What are some other challenges you encounter with IT that you would like to be better equipped to address? Let us know via the comments, and if you would be interested in attending a session on this topic, be sure to give it a star!

As a member of IT, I'm also interested in this from the other direction.

@JohnJPS would you mind expanding on that thought? Do you mean as someone who is in the IT department you want to know how you should reach out to internal business units within your organization to get them to adopt Alteryx as an analytic tool?

@LisaA That would be part of it, but moreso the thought is to view it as a conversation: for any idea point in the dialogue, view it from both sides. Unfortunately there's sometimes a communication gap that results in people on both sides of the fence forgetting their on the same team.  It would be great to keep that in mind as the conversation unfolds.
