IMPORTING A .DEL FILE TYPE INTO ALTERYX

Hey Guys,

This is going to be my first topic here. I have a data which is in .del type. I tried to import it into alteryx but i understand it isnt one of the supported file types. Please how can i import the data as i am also unable to change the file extension too.

Try to import as a flat file or a csv, Since DEL files are stored in plain text it should work

Great, this works just fine. I imported it as a delimited file and alteryx selected csv from the configuration pane. Thanks

Alteryx does not give me the option to select a .del file while using the input tool. How were you able select the file in the first place?

Agree with all of the above solutions but because this happens to me a lot, I submitted the following as a patch idea for Alteryx.
