Margarita returns to our user group stage to present her ever popular Tips and Tricks session from the Inspire Conference! This session features numerous techniques and little-known methods of navigating, utilizing, and processing Alteryx, all while enhancing your user experience and often saving time!
Following the Tips and Tricks session, we are showcasing a Holiday theme for this time of year, and will host presenters from the 2020 Santalytics competition! Last year, the Alteryx Community hosted a competition to build Holiday-centered Alteryx Analytic Apps, using packaged datasets available to all Community members. We will have some of the developers explore the apps they created, and answer questions on the build process, app logic, and various Interface Tools used.

"Everyone using Alteryx Designer will inevitably encounter errors at one time or another. Error messages give us data, and that data is useful! This session will talk all about error messages, how to use them when you want them, and defensive design for when you don't." Come hear Charlie discuss error message handling in Alteryx and expand your knowledge about this advanced and often overlooked concept.

We are returning to in-person meetings on a quarterly cadence, and our Q3 meeting will be hosted by Thompson Reuters at their location in Carrollton. Jason's presentation, "Extend Excel Capabilities with Python + Alteryx", will feature an innovative workflow that provides advanced search and match capabilities that goes well beyond a basic dataset match process. He will also dive into fuzzy matching and explain the various methods utilized, along with describing the Python script.

Hi, DFW user group members! Save the date for the August user group virtual meeting, which will be Friday, August 18th, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m.! This will be a combination July/August meeting, since so many of our members and speakers may have been on vacation during July. The meeting date also has been moved to mid-month, since some universities begin classes on the 21st, and public schools are starting earlier around the 14th.

This will be a very cool topic, and it will be exciting to learn more!

For this virtual meeting, we will start with an engaging presentation by one of the ACEs, then we will feature a fun new topic that I have wanted to do for a while: "Ask an ACE"! In this session, a panel of ACEs will answer questions from attendees on any Alteryx topic. This is your chance to ask those questions you have always wanted to, whether simple or detailed. Feel free to ask those questions ad hoc during the meeting, or if you would like to send your questions in advance, you can either post them as a reply here, or email them to me at deanna.sanchez@novageographica.com .

He will present an Introduction to Analytic Apps, which will be geared toward the beginner to intermediate Alteryx user. Apps are highly beneficial aspects of Alteryx, and are able to be created out-of-the-box with the Interface toolset (no add-ons or additional cost required)!

Our newest Texas Alteryx ACE, Molly Harras, will present how her company hosts an internal Alteryx Grand Prix! Join us to learn how the event is structured, as well as how it benefits the Alteryx users and the company's data analytics culture. It may even inspire you to start one at your own company! Molly is the highly talented 2023 Grand Prix winner from the Alteryx Inspire conference last year, and it was thrilling to watch her solve the tasks in record time!
Chris Williams, Alteryx ACE and CTO of Precision Analytics Group, will present a predictive modeling topic: Classification and using the Association Analysis tool in Alteryx. We are excited to learn more, and to hear Chris' engaging presentation on advanced analytics!
