Big Data Analytics Can Push the Limits of Analytics

As you know, Alteryx helps solve analytical business problems, i.e. everything from doing A/B analysis on marketing campaigns to financial risk analysis and fraud detection. To answer these analytical questions, large amounts of data need to be processed in a reasonable time. While these questions have traditionally  been solved in-memory within seconds or minutes with Alteryx workflows, increasingly, big data analytics are making it no longer reasonable to manage in-memory.

Data volumes keep growing exponentially, and analysts are expected to perform more advanced analysis. This leads to hours spent on execution times. When big data volumes pass beyond GBs and into the TBs, combining the in-database capabilities of Alteryx with the capabilities of the new Azure Data Warehouse can help provide analysts with better performance and petabyte scale analytics.

Bigger and Better Azure SQL Data Warehouse Analytics

With the release of the new generation of the Azure SQL Data Warehouse Compute Optimized Gen 2 Tier, users get even faster execution. Work that previously took hours – and was already considered fast -  can now be completed up to 5x faster using features like adaptive cashing combined with NVMe SSDs.

Don’t just take my word for it, experience the difference for yourself when you leverage Alteryx together with Azure SQL Data Warehouse Compute Optimized Gen 2 Tier. Get started with Alteryx Designer on the Azure Marketplace today!
