Shared Drive File Drop for Workflow Schedule/ Run in Server

Hi all,

We're looking to find utilise something other than the G Drive for the business to drop files into. We want the Alteryx workflow to either be set on a schedule and pick up any new files or for the business user to run it after they have dropped them in. This should pick up the new input and then output the the database for us.

Does anybody have any experience of doing something like this and with what?

Downfall of G Drive is that anybody can accidently change information. We have tried to connect to Sharepoint but have firewall issues. Also, we aren't looking for solutions that we can pay for.

Hi @alishadhillon__ ,

You can have a shared folder inside your Alteryx Server machine. That would probably require permission from your Alteryx Server admin and IT, but it would be totally free.
