Login Pop Up Window When Selecting Input Files on Server/Gallery

We've been having an issue with our Alteryx Server/Gallery that we have been unable to resolve. 

When our users navigate to a workflow located on our Alteryx Server/Gallery Production Environment and select the updated file paths for their input files, the screen sits spinning for approximately 2 minutes before the below pop up window appears asking the user to sign in. No matter what credentials the user enters, the workflow will always continue to fail. This pop up window does appear sporadically (approximately 80% of the time) and seems to happen more often with larger file sizes (greater than 5 MB). The issue also occurs regardless of where the user's input files are saved (their desktop, a shared drive, etc.). With the help of Alteryx Support and several Wireshark traces we performed, we believe the issue is not with the Alteryx Server/Gallery itself, but is instead related to a change in one or more of our internal company firewalls, network environments or cyber security settings.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue before and had success resolving it?

We were able to solve the issue. It turns out that a new cybersecurity software was installed by out IT team without our knowledge. This software was blocking Alteryx from accessing input files located on shared drives, causing the workflow to eventually time out. Adding Alteryx to the whitelist for the cybersecurity software solved the issue.
