Empty Excel document and Unhandled Exception after App completion

    • Excel


Cause


The cause of this issue can be traced to the Excel installation on the machine running the app. If you open the Alteryx GUI log located at C:\ProgramData\Alteryx\ErrorLogs (may be in a sub-folder), there will be a message
 

Type: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception
Message: An error occurred in sending the command to the application
Source: System

This message originates from and refers to Excel.



Resolution
