Publish to Tableau with stored password from active directory

Wondering why  I have to change 100s of my workflows every time password changes . system should read the latest password like Tableau can do embedded passwords on data sources automatically from active directory

I wasn't aware Tableau auto-refreshed credentials, interesting.  I posted this idea a few weeks ago - one of the newer Tableau Server versions allows you to create your own Personal Access token which can be used by the REST API to login.  Using the token would eliminate the need for any password changes.
