how to automate new column changes using existing column in alteryx

Hi Alteryx Experts,

I have alteryx workflow which has new column based on existing field using formula tool.

our data source is Sharpoint lists where we update every month with new changes for the field which was used to create formula.

Because of these changes i suppose to update my formula each time when changes happened to original column.

Is there any better approach other than using formula tool to create new column using existing column from SP

.
