Using regular expression to parse date from filename

Hi,

I am using regular expression to split out the date from filename, the filename format is listed below. I am sure that my regular expression is good that the result should be MMMyyyy. However, the tool output is just MMM, not include yyyy. The picture has shown the result. How can i make it to output the desired result. Thanks in advance!

Hey @philosophy22,

You will want to put the 4 digits in each regex group like this:

(Mar\d{4}|SEP\d{4})
