Skip Tools on Error

I am trying to create two different scenarios in my workflow and the goal is only either of them creates an output file. I tried to use Message Tool but it only removes the record instead of skipping the steps after that error. Is there a workaround to achieve my goal?

I can see that no rows are flowing through. Can I know what you are looking for.

my goal is when there's error on one of the messages (error on 2nd message tool in this case), tools afterwards can be skipped and no output gets generated. Though no records are flowing through the 2nd part now, it still generates an output and will conflict with my other output from the other scenario.
