Publishing 55 lakhs rows data to Tableau as Published Data source

Hi community,

I want to publish 55 lakhs rows of data coming from the Alteryx workflow to the Tableau server as the published data source can someone suggest a way and Alteryx workflow to compress the data and publish it in the most efficient manner? Thank you.

You can use the Output Tool to write a Tableau Data Extract (.tde) or Tableau Hyper Data Extract (.hyper) file, these can be used by your server. (See screen shot of example workflow).

If you want to publish directly to the Tableau server you should use the Tableau Output tool found on the community downloads, here https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Community-Gallery/Tableau-Output-Tool/ta-p/877902

Hi, so you suggest creating a hyper file(.yxmd extension) and then publishing it to the Tableau server using the Tableau output tool and Publish to Tableau server tool? Is there a way I can create a hyper file(.yxmd extension) and publish it to the Tableau server in the same workflow? Please let me know and can you please show me how?
