Macro for Reading Multiple Files

Every analyst has encountered the problem where their data is in multiple files that are not consistent. Typically, you create a workflow for each file before you combine the data into a database table. The problem is exasperated when the data that you are loading changes daily or weekly and you must deal with the changing data each time. I developed a macro that can read multiple files, including multiple tabs in an Excel spreadsheet, even when there are issues such as naming inconsistencies, varying numbers of columns and variations in data types. I use a workflow that preps the filenames for the macro and then cleanses the data once it has been combined in a single workflow.
