How can I cache YXDB file?

Hello - I am using 10GB + .yxdb file (it was initially 30GB+ text file) to run the workflow and there is a join function that I do right after that and it is still taking excessive amount of time. So - I want to know if there is a way to cache the yxdb data in the middle of the workflow like other files because it is not allowing me to do so. Or - does someone else have any other good method to run this quicker?

Hi @Jamestheko

Cache and run isnt active on all tools.

What i usually do is drag in between a select tool. It is usually active on it.

Hope this helps 🙂

For some other YXDB files, Cache works but for this one it seems to not work. It is total of 40GB file, so could it be related to the size?

Hi @Jamestheko

Can just check on all these 3 tools.

Checking on this, it seems like anything after join function cannot be cached and I will have to cache before join. Please let me know if you know a way to cache after join function! I tried to cache on all the functions after that and it wont give me a choice to cache 😧
