Getting Error " FileResourceHandler::EnsureBaseDirExists: Cannot create target directory "

Hello Team,

When I try to create a folder in shared drive using a  render tool , I am getting an error as "FileResourceHandler::EnsureBaseDirExists: Cannot create target directory". I am able to create folder using a BAT file in workflow. I have read and write access to the shared drive. Please advise how to fix this. I am using 2021.1.7 version of Alteryx.

Hey @Ranjith_udaykumar,

First thing I would try is running the workflow in admin:

Could be that Alteryx isn't running with your permissions.

Although looking at the error is sounds like it cant find the directory your creating the file in. Does the BAT file work outside of Alteryx?

I do not have admin rights to the system. 

I was able to create folder till last week. Not sure what changed.

@Ranjith_udaykumar The error "EnsureBaseDirExists" implies it cant find the directory is the problem I would check the file path hasn't changed slightly.
