Date export not extracting properly into Alteryx

Hi guys,

Bizarre issue and I hope you guys could assist. In Excel all the dates are formatted as Date but Alteryx pulls it incorrectly, it's the only date which is incorrect.

Excel:

25/12/1987

21/06/2000

29/09/1982

Alteryx reading

1987-12-25
1900-01-20
1982-09-29

Any ideas why?

Note: I don't want to change the file into .csv

Alteryx presents dates in the format "yyyy-mm-dd", so it does look like you're dates are importing correctly, it's just presented in a different format in Alteryx comparted to excel.
