Database Errors Root Element Missing

Hi All,

Shortly after upgrading to the latest version of Alteryx all my inputs containing database connections are getting Root Element is Missing in all my workflows.  Additionally, the error message looks weird.. Looks like it is trying to read a file instead of connecting to the database. I have checked my Oracle Driver and the connection is good.  I have tried creating another Alias and the new one is getting the same error.  All the workflows work fine in the gallery and I am able to connect if I type the connection sting in the input tool.  However, it doesn't retain any of the SQL that was in the input tool previously.  I have attached some screenshots of the errors.  Spoke with some colleagues and one thought was my alias folder is corrupt and I can't find it to delete it.  I searched the community and found a few "Root Element is Missing" posts, but none of them had responses that addressed my issue.

Your help is greatly appreciated!!

It is possible that your UserConnections.xml file is corrupted as seen here: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Discussions/Root-element-missing-In-DB-tool/m-p/43...

It may be worth opening up a support case for this one: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Support/bd-p/SupportPage

If you delete the file you will probably be able to make it work but it will wipe out your connections which you will need to reestablish.

Thank you!!! I found the files and deleted them.  Then recreated the connection and it works!!
