DCM Migration Tool: No connections suitable for migration found in the workflow(s)

I have extract workflows with over 100 SQL connections. The data source is a saved Gallery Oracle OCI connection.

When I try to use the DCM Migration Tool I get the message: No connections suitable for migration found in the workflow(s)

Same thing happens even in a test workflow where I embedded the connection string into the workflow.

Is there any way to troubleshoot this or another workaround? Workflow dependencies for example would make this easy, but it does not allow you to select a DCM connection.
