Can’t activate my license key due to blank page

Hello,

This is my first time using Alteryx on my Windows 10
and I am having some kind of issue that won’t allow me to type the license key into the field I’m supposed to. I have tried running Alteryx Designer 2023.2 on my Windows 10 (S145 Notepad machine)even as an Admin and it still didn’t solve the problem. I’ve also tried turning off all firewall stuff and nothing changed. All I get is a blank page with a header that clearly indicates there should be some field for me to the license key I was given into. I must also say that I have tried giving Alteryx special permission on the machine’s firewall but, again, nothing changed.

I’m adding a picture of the error that I am being struck by to this thread because I feel like that may help you guys grasp where it’s stemming from and what should be done about it.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling alteryx?

Hi @Fvlt are you running the designer on a vm or on your own laptop?

Hi @Fvlt 

Check the Scale and layout section of your display settings.   

 

I have seen cases in the Designer UI where various scroll bars, fields, etc. disappear if the scaling has been set to >100%.
