Our Women of Analytics initiative is incredibly important to us, and we want you to get involved! Our WoA Community Chapter Guide will provide you with resources to connect, learn, and grow in your career. The analytics space has grown exponentially in recent years, and with that, we want to scale our support for women in STEM in order to make sure future talent is properly skilled and enabled. Our goal is to leave an inclusive legacy for generations to come so that WoA can continue to have a positive and inspiring impact on the world.

This space will be an ever-evolving hub for resources that will benefit our Women of Analytics Community. Check back here often for the resources you need to #PressforProgress in your organization, your local community, and within your personal life.

Goals:

  • To provide resources to enable you to network, learn, and share with your community
  • Encourage shared knowledge to bridge the gender gap and progress gender parity
  • Promote diversity in STEM and the analytics industry worldwide
  • To help enable women to take ownership of their career growth
  • To be a connector for finding mentor partnerships

WoA forum Guidelines

Use the Women of Analytics group to ask questions, share your experiences, insights and resources, as well as promote your own events or initiatives.

Our only ask: Remember to maintain the spirit of our community: respect, collaboration, appreciation and relevancy.

In order for others in your community to easily find your activity on the WoA forum, please do your best to consolidate conversations specific to your local chapter to a single thread.

Promotion Tips

  • Hold group brainstorming sessions with women at your company
  • Organize a welcome reception
  • Get involved in annual International Women's Day campaigns
  • Sponsor a networking event or workshop
  • Leverage Social Media to share progress and encourage others. Be sure to use the #WomenofAnalytics hashtag.

Thank you, @LeahK!  This is outstanding, and an excellent set of resources for all, including those who would like to start their own chapter of WoA in their community.  As with the Bangalore Alteryx User Group, our Dallas/Fort Worth Women of Analytics Group started within our Alteryx User Group, inspired by the work that Alteryx is doing here on the Community!  I am looking forward to seeing many other WoA groups start around the world; please post if you are considering starting a WoA group in your area - you have a community of people here to support and encourage you!
