Hi Everyone -

My name is Vishal Kuthiala. I am an Internal Controls Manager for a Tier 1 automotive supplier. I am very new to this community and just trying to work my through all of the resources that are available to new users. My company is looking at Alteryx as a possible solution for our venture into Data Analytics and the efficiencies to be gained not only within the Audit realm, but the value that can be added to all functions within the company.

I have just been using the trial of Designer at this point but could use some guidance as to the best place to start learning more about the program. I have started the interactive videos, and have even looked for training offered by third parties in order to better acquaint myself with the application. Any further resources that people in the community are aware of would be welcome and if anyone is in and around Michigan, I would definitely buy them a coffee for a walkthrough of how they best get use out of the program in their particular line of work.

Regards,

Vishal

Hi Vishal!

Welcome to the Community! Glad to hear you started the interactive lessons. I'd also recommend supplementing what you're learning with the beginner level weekly challenges.  If you go to the Index, you can find specific challenges by level of difficulty and subject.

Here are a few of my personal recommendations for newer users:

As you're learning Alteryx -- don't shy away from asking the Community for help along the way. Visit Designer Discussions to ask any questions you might have!

Thanks again for introducing yourself @vkuthiala! See you around the Community!

Hi Leah,

Thank you for all of the resources. I will certainly start working my way through what you have provided.

I have also registered for the ICIMO Alteryx Core Concept ! & II training sessions. I am hoping that will flatten out the learning curve a bit and allow me to really put Alteryx to use.

Regards,

Vishal
