Hello Everyone,
My work involves analysing data and deriving insights. I am relatively new to Alteryx and found it to be an excellent tool for performing data manipulation and automating tasks.
I got my designer core certification this month and am looking to learn Macros on a step by step approach or hands on tutorials to help me get through my designer advanced certification.
I am open to suggestions and any resource link that would help me in my journey.

Hi Krish85
Welcome to community!
For macros I think these community articles are a good starting place:
- Standard macros: Standard Macros
- Batch macros: Getting Started with Batch Macros
- Iterative macros: Getting Started with Iterative Macros
In addition to this in Designer there are some examples:
1) Help - Tutorials - Intro to Macros
2) Help - Sample Workflows - Using scripting and automation tools - build a macro
Then there's the weekly challenges to put the knowledge into practice.:
Week 12 - Creating an HR Hierarchy
Week 34 - Date-Time Formatting
Week 39 - Trouble Shooting a Broken Macro
Week 66 - My Wine Problem
Week 74 - Build a Factorial Calculator
Week 86 - Create a Macro that Generates Past Dates
Week 105 - Think Like a CSE… Tools are missing!
Week 135 - Locker Problem
Week 180 - Thousand File Challenge
If you have any questions as you go through, please reach out on designer discussions where there will be lots of people to help.
