Alteryx new user - Charting Tools

Hi all,

Hope you are well during these unprecedented times. As part of my job, I am often asked to create visual analytics of working capital. I have found that excel does not offer the best visual charting tools.

As a new user, do you find alteryx is better for charting? Do you have any recommendations of how to build charting skills in alteryx (videos, training, etc)

Thank you!

Hi @CharlieKretschmer9,

I'd recommend you start with the Interactive Chart tool mastery article. I think my favorite feature is the batching capability, which is covered in the last section of the article. Basically, once you set up your chart, you can automatically create many charts based on a certain field. So, in the given example, if you chart player vs goals scored, you can easily create a chart for each hockey team. Good luck!
