The input data is a super common scenario where people literally just paste the values from an Excel pivot table when they could have easily reconfigured the pivot instead of giving bad data. Great practical exercise!

Pretty challenging! My solution is not the fanciest. I am not familiar with and didn't use Regex functions so I had to add lots of steps, but I think they work.

Took me hours but I was pretty entertained.
