Challenge #496: Create the Correct Code

Chaoued
8 - Asteroid

Hello, I got the same results for TASK1, but for the second one I didn’t get the same values. However, I’m confident that my results are correct. If you notice anything different, please feel free to correct me

Didn't get the same percentages for task 2, but there are a few things left to interpretation:

I am confident the letter suffix % is 40 and not 38

The missing delimiters is confusing because the hint says that the 3 - 2 digit inside the code are correct, but some of them have underscores or no delimiter. I believe the 86% is if you take those into account as wrong, which is not what the hint is telling you to do.

By assuming that the 3 and 2 digits in the code are always right, I get 68% are missing delimiters.

REGEX_Replace(REGEX_Replace([Code], "^([[:alpha:]]+)(\d{3})(\d{2})([[:alpha:]]?)$", "$1-$2-$3-$4"),"-$", "")

My solution is attached. My output numbers do not match the provided solution, but after careful review I stand by my solution and believe the provided answer set was erroneous.

Fun challenge. Wasn't as hard as I thought initially.
