Amazing how the brain works.. i just learnt a bit about the Generate rows tool yesterday and somehow figured out this challenge would be a good application for it.

Curious to see what the published solution was and how others tackled this well made challenge.

We thought up likely the most straight forward path to the solution.  Much better than the posted solution actually.
You multirowed on the dates and I multirowed on the books in a similar approach I've seen on a different challenge. 
Yours was blatantly cleaner and more efficient.  

I love the way you used the SORT tool and then FIRST alongside SUM in the same Summarize tool.

It doesn't get much more elegant than that!  Kudos to you Phillip!
